Section 1: Jesus Calms the Storm (v22-25)
1. Why would Jesus deliberately lead the disciples into a situation where they would face a storm?
2. How do the Disciples respond to the danger of the storm? What does this reveal about their view of Jesus at this point?
3. Jesus asks “where is your faith?” - What might he be challenging in them?
4. What strikes you about the disicples reaction after the storm is calmed?
Section 2: Jesus heals the demon-possessed man (v26-39)
1. What does the condition of the demon-possessed man tell us about the destructive nature of evil?
2. How does the community treat this man before Jesus arrives?
3. What do you notice about the demon’s recognition of Jesus compared to the disciples earlier confusion?
4. What is surprising about Jesus command to the healed man in verse 39?

1. Where in your life do you feel like you’re in a storm right now? How might Jesus be calling you to trust him in it?
2.In what ways has Jesus changed your life — and are you ready to tell your story like the healed man was?
3.What would it look like for you to “go and tell how much God has done for you” this week?
