At City Light we are all about making more and stronger disciples of Jesus. Whether you have doubts and questions about God or you are looking to grow in your faith, we would love for you to join us as we hear from God through His Word, the Bible.
Sunday Gatherings
We would like to invite you to our Sundays at City Light Church Balmain at 10:30AM at Sydney Secondary College: Balmain Campus. Each Sunday we sing a few songs, hear a talk from a part of the bible, and spend time chatting together. You can wear what you like, stay for as long or as little as you want, and can feel free to simply sit back and see what we are on about. We also run a children's program called 'City Kids' at both services.
NEW TO CHURCH?
We also run an event every few weeks called 'Newish'. This is a great informal night with the lead pastor hearing a little bit about City Light Church, what we are doing, what we are about as a church and ultimately what God has done and God is doing here at City Light Church. ALPHA
If we have the time to think about it, most of us have big questions we want answered: How do I find genuine happiness, what kind of person do I want to be, how do I live a meaningful life? But it’s hard to find time and space to think about these things and to even know where to start. Alpha is a space to do just that.

City Kids and City Youth
At City Light we’re all about making more and stronger disciples of Jesus across all generations. This means that we partner with parents to have dedicated teams and services for our young people to ensure we are discipling the next generation in the ways of God.
All of our incredible City Kids and City Youth leaders have active WWCC numbers and have gone through extra Safe Ministries training to ensure we create a space that’s super safe, super biblical and super fun!
City Kids
Our amazing City Kids leaders prepare bible-based lessons and super fun activities each week for ages 3-6yrs and 7-12yrs.
Creche runs every Sunday for babies and toddlers to have a fun time whilst their parents enjoy sitting in on our Sunday gathering.
City Youth
We are very excited to announce City Youth - an open invitation to all high schoolers who want to kick off their week with a good time! Expect there to always be great food and great company as we discover God together.
