Jeremy Dunne
Lead Pastor & Outreach Leader - Elder

Jeremy was one of the planting pastors of City Light Church in 2012 and now leads the team in vision and mission. He’s married to Mel and they have three kids. Jeremy also serves as Chairman of the KYCK youth conference, investing in the next generation of believers.

Jacob Mitchell
Sunday Gatherings & City Light Communities - Elder

Jacob is married to Sarah, who he met at City Light, and together they have two children. He leads the team of leaders who oversee City Light Communities during the week and the volunteer teams who serve at Sunday gatherings.

Anna Stephenson
New Connections & Pastoral Care

Anna is married to Nate and helps integrate and welcome new members into the life of City Light. She also leads our pastoral care ministry, walking alongside people with warmth and wisdom. Beyond City Light, Anna runs her own counselling practice, Anna Grace Counselling.

Ben Powell
- Elder

Ben directs the Bridge Gap Year program, discipling and investing in the spiritual formation of young people. Ben has previously served as a pastor in Sydney and led a church planting team among an unreached people group in East Asia. He is married to Beth and they have two children. Ben also leads a City Light community.

Derek Brotherson
-Elder

Derek is the Principal of Sydney Missionary and Bible College (SMBC). He’s married to Anna and together they have three children. Before joining SMBC, Derek worked as a lawyer with the Australian Government Solicitor in Canberra and later served as a missionary in Southeast Asia with OMF.

Anna Brotherson
-Committee Member

Anna lectures in New Testament Greek at Sydney Missionary and Bible College and loves helping students dig deeply into God’s Word. She’s married to Derek and they have three children. Anna is also a passionate writer and a lifelong lover of languages.

Geordy Armsworth
-Committee Member / Treasurer

Geordy is a Chartered Accountant and currently works as Vice President in Commodities & Global Markets at Macquarie Bank. Geordy is married to Izzie, and has three children. In addition to his role on the City Light Committee, Izzie and Geordy together lead a mid-week City Light Community.
